Great bites as hors d'oeuvre serve with beer.
This is how it was done (I think...) :
bacon slices, halved
chicken breast, sliced thinly diagonally
spring onion, cut into 2-inch strips
big red chilli, seeded and cut thin strips
Marinate the chicken with pepper and salt if you must (as I know old habit dies hard) but sparingly, as bacon can be very salty.
Place some spring onion, strips of red chilli with a thin slice of chicken breast at one end of the 1/2 piece of bacon. Then roll the bacon round the chicken and secure with a toothpick.
Bbq, grill, bake or maybe even pan-fry.

great idea using chicken instead of sausages! when i do devils on horseback, i feel guilty about serving sausages (since we only get preservatives-laden ones here)to my kids. shall we call htese demons on horseback?
oh, tts what they are called?
devils or demons, they don't matter on they're in your mouth - can we have about 200 each please? :D
These look lovely, glstening with rendered fat, ooooooo...
Should only have this on Saturday nights and on Sunday to go for confession - they look so sinful.
the confession booths will have long queues...
I am planning a BBQ and I will definitely keep this in mind as Hubby loves bacon. Must be so 'hiong' when the oil dripped onto the charcoal. Yumz!
Don't marinade the chicken, wrap more spring onions and chili strips with chicken. ur whole neighborhood will be so 'hiong'...:D
mmmmm.. yum. =D
